MIC’s Covenant Partner 52-Week Giving Challenge Explanation

This year for our Covenant Partners giving we are using the 52-week giving challenge.
What is the 52-week giving challenge?
This year, we will match each week's giving amount with the 2024 number of the weeks. In other words, you'll give $1 for the first week of the year, $2 for the second week of the year, $3 for the third week of the year, and so on. 
 
Example: This was the 3rd Sunday of the year, so your gift Sunday would have been $3 dollars. In January 2024, if we had started the first week of the year, we would have given a total of $10. 1+2+3+4=10 which includes our 4th gift of the year of $4. 
Next Sunday, (January 28th) I want us to give our first fruit for our 52-week giving challenge with a gift of $10 as a part of our Prayer Sunday to get started.

The 52-week giving challenge will help us establish that this year.
Structure is about having order, and stewardship is about being a better manager.

Quarterly Status Checks: You will receive Quarterly Status checks on the progress being made.
Drawings: Each quarter, all participating members will be entered into a drawing(s) for prizes to include $500 cash gift, gift cards, electronics, and more. You must be caught up.
