About MIC Impact Program
Through the MIC Impact Program, we impact and mentor people (adults and children) through admonishing and communicating truth.
Our goal and objective is to foster a safe environment for participants to grow in God, advance their academic skills, and be exposed to programs and resources that will forever impact their lives.
Meet Our Directors
Kiara Lavigne is a dedicated teacher from White Castle, Louisiana. Entering her fourth year in the profession, she has a passion for education and continuous learning. Kiara graduated from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2020 and is currently pursuing her Master’s Degree in Education at Grambling State University. Outside of teaching, she enjoys working out, journaling, and reading, which help her maintain a balanced and fulfilling lifestyle.
Sydney Handy is a dedicated teacher from Plaquemine , Louisiana. Entering her third year in the profession, she has a passion for education and continuous learning. Sydney graduated from Louisiana State University in 2022 and is currently pursuing her Master’s Degree in Business Administration with concentration in Human Resources Mangement at Louisiana State University Sherveport. Outside of teaching, she enjoys spending time with loved ones, shopping and watching the latest movies.
